Boer van Tienen

One of the best beer pubs from Antwerp! Great draft beer, also great outdoor seating when the sun is shining.

I’ll do this one in English, just because tourists in Antwerp also need to know about this bar ;)
This is one of the oldest bars in A-​town. And not only the bar itself is old, also it’s regulars. This is one of the pubs with the most dedicated customers. Every morning you can see the same people here having their first coffee, or jenever, or beer, … For some of these people there are no more mornings ;) Beside these older regulars, you also have the proximity of the actingschool which leads to some youth also coming here. So you got pretty much all types of people coming here.
You can find a broad selection of Belgian beers here, and also a small selection of hard liquors. If you want something to eat you can enjoy some cheese or «Kop» with mustard. Kop is something you should really try, but keep in mind that this not for vegetarians.
When the national football team plays it’s matches you can always follow them here on a big screen.
Service is very down to earth. They are friendly, but act like an ass and you can expect some shit come flying your way ;)
