I really loved this place! It seemed more for drinking than food, but we were hungry so we ate! I had the chicken sandwich and it was really tasty, made with warm chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, carrots, and mayo on what looked like wheat bread. It was a big sandwich! I split it with my mom and it was a filling lunch.(We also got a plate of cheese on the side to fill us too.) The real reason we ended up splitting the sandwich is because they only had two slices of bread left! The friendly waiter explained that Sundays are not busy days so they don’t order as much food which left them with enough to make only one sandwich. I didn’t mind so much, but if you’re really hungry make sure you go early for lunch on Sunday! The reason this got four stars instead of five(there was nothing wrong with the food) is because of three reasons. 1) They ran out of ingredients to make the food. We got there at around 2PM but that really shouldn’t happen in a kitchen where you want to make profit and keep customers. 2) It was extremely crowded during peak hours. We stopped in the night before at around dinner time and there was no seating and this was at around 8PM. That could be a good indicator of their popularity but it wouldn’t be good in some situations either. And 3) There was a cat running down into the dining area. The people who work there live upstairs and their adorable black cat came down and hopped right up a bar stool! I personally love cats and it was a nice, soft, friendly one but if anyone is allergic to cats, it wouldn’t be the most sanitary idea for them to dine here. P. S.: They played some good variety of older American music. The bar man sang along!
