Handelsbeurs

This used to be a stockmarket for centuries but since a couple of years it has been abonded and since 2003 it’s been closed because of fire security measures. It’s a real pity because it’s rotting away while it’s even a monument. In 2012 there was an anouncement that they were going to make a five star hotel out of it. These days it’s a bit unclear, if it is really going to happen or not but in the meantime you can try to get in and take some fuckin’ awesome pictures. There are some people living there with Camelot, an organization who prevents people squatting empty houses. I went there a couple of times to ring all the bells and hoping someone would let us in but it didn’t work. Maybe you have more luck!
