The interior is everything!
I would love to give this place four or even five stars for interior only — but that wouldn’t be accurate as a whole.
It is such a shame the food isn’t better at a place like this. I really recommend you to go here, but not for the culinary experience. Be prepared. The food is ok but nothing you will remember. What you will remember is indeed the interior!
In Christmas time this place must be a dream.
Service leaves a lot to wish for. We had to ask THREE times to pay. Not even when we got up and got our coats on the waitress remember what she had forgot — twice…
They accept AMEX.
PS This is definately not a place for disabled due to steep stairs.

Took a break from late work nights to trek to Antwerp for dinner. It was –7*C out and this was close to where we parked, so it was an obvious choice. The interior is very cozy and tastefully decorated with relics and artwork. It’s pretty quiet inside, although the piano levitating in between the first and second floors suggests they do have live music.
I ordered the steak medallion with mushroom sauce, my coworker ordered the Roquefort salad. The steak was good (not great), but do note that in Belgium, if you order a steak ‘medium’ it will be ‘medium-​rare’ at best. Err on the side of cooked if you don’t like to hear moos. The mushroom sauce was definitely homemade and the frites that accompanied the meal were very… Belgian. Average Belgian beer list and a decent wine list as well.
