Doron is an Amazing host. The place has a really cozy atmosphere. I’ve eaten here twice, I can say the tomato soup is amazing(I have a thing for tomato soups, this one is very filling, and really good). The pizza is very big, BUT the crust is very thin, so you actually fill up from the toppings and the taste, rather than the bread — so — sure, big plate, but it’s not too much, it’s just right. I liked the rose wine(house wine), went well with the pizza. The oven is wooden — not the fake regular ones they have all around. Guys — this place is DABOMB.

Went to Isola Sarda for the third time, thats how brilliant it is! I’ve taken different friends each time so this review speaks for four people. Great atmosphere. Welcomed in by a beautiful brick oven stove, friendly staff, and charming décor. Reminds me of an Italian restaurant in Manhattan. Not pretentious, simple, clean, and definitely worth remembering. I tend to steer clear of tourist trap restaurants in the busy De Keyserlei/Central station area. However the location of the restaurant on Anneessensstraat 35 only adds to the appeal for me. Its very refreshing to find a truly good restaurant in such a busy area. The brick oven pizza is beautiful, fresh toppings and plenty to choose from so even my vegetarian friend was impressed with toppings like aubergine, artichoke, and gorgonzola to name only a few. The choice of salads were interesting and definitely had me curious to taste. I shared an antipasto, a pizza, and a carafe of house red wine with my friend We both left feeling pleased with our choices. She mentioned going back for a meal with her partner. Owners Daniel and Micky are wonderful hosts, its no wonder the place is always busy when I go!

Two persons are not allowed to share one pizza, even though we ordered wine, cava and other drinks. We carried out our pizza order so they missed out on making more money on desserts and other drinks. Dumb people with no business view. Pizza was very small and extremely thin crust; € 10. There are better places around, not strange we were the only people in there.
