Bonne adresse pour faire pour faire une pause veggie et bio dans le centre d’Anvers. Sandwiches savoureux, plein de légumes et de salades variées. seul bémol, un peu cher.

Highly priced food and drink! This place is overhyped

The food is delicious!
The place isn’t particularly attractive for me: it feels a bit dirty and way too small, but the location is perfect for lunch during a shopping day and the quality of the food makes up for that — I would only come here for a quick lunch or when I can sit outside (longer waiting time).

I love Lombardia! Such a great, relaxed vibe with delicious sandwiches and drinks!
My favorite lunch: veggie burger with guacamole, Whole Earth ginger drink, followed by a Ginger Love tea.

Excellente adresse! Je suis parti à Anvers pour une big journée shopping et je né conseillerais pas meilleure adresse pour une pause déjeuner. La carte et assez variée et beaucoup de choix végétarien (un soulagement). Le résultat est délicieux, les prix abordables et l’accueil génial.
Petit bémol: l’étroitesse de l’emplacement, cest cosy mais très bruyant et petit (la popularité de l’endroit n’aide pas).

Un endroit qui existe depuis un bail et qui doit être l’un des premiers à proposer une carte aussi bio et surtout en mode gluten free.
La déco est un assemblage de tout un tas d’affiches, de signatures de Moby, Sting ou autres stars passées par là…
Dans l’assiette, c’est très frais, full légumes et aussi des compositions maison avec fromage fondu genre pizza revisitée.
L’endroit est idéal pour un chouette lunch lors d’une journée shopping à Anvers.

I don’t think I need to explain Lombardia to our locals here, but to tourists it might be fun to know what this place is and what it stands for: fresh, natural, home made with a sidedish of humour. It’s only fair to say that Lombardia was one of the first places in Antwerp to promote bio veggies (and sometimes meaties/​fishies) in a fashionable way. Flashbacks of maybe 10 years ago indicate that Lombardia has always been a little quirky; there were little mechanial piggies on a leash to draw customer’s attention. I can even remember my first time there, the waiter threw bird seeds on the table for some reason :)
Fact is, the food is great and a lot of vegan choices as well. Their menu says «we know we’re not cheap», but those prices are found everywhere these days– even for non bio foods, at least this money is worth spending; you’ll feel healthy and beautiful afterwards!

The staff was really friendly as I came in.
The recommendation of ginger tea was amazing. It tastes like a ginger tea cappuccino. I also got a warm tuna sandwich with guacamole. It’s not super cheap food, but quality is definitely worth it.

YEAH for Gluten free here! They have the best Gluten free sandwiches that I have ever tried. The first thing that comes to mind when I land in Antwerp is lunch at Lombardia! The food and service is always warm and excellent, which is one thing I really adore about Antwerp. I was literally bragging about their sandwiches to a few health-​food spots in Amsterdam. I am so lucky that Amsterdam is just a hop on the train from Antwerp, so I can enjoy lunch at Lombardia.

love this place. No nonsense but great fresh food. I do appreciate biological vegetarian places so much. I have added a photo of there menu card. Talks for itself. Apart from all their sandwiches, salads and juices etc, you should try their cheesecake and carrot cake.
A reason to go back to Antwerpen/​Anvers!

Wie immer köstlich. Der berühmte Ingwertee hat uns den regnerischen Tag versüßt und Käsekuchen und Eis taten ein übriges dazu. Gesund und lecker essen ist nur bei Alain im Lombardia möglich.

Wonderful place with delicious vegetarian food! I love their Ginger tea and a Mexican veggie burger!
