I had a good experience at Taj Mahal and intend to go back as soon as possible. The staff was super friendly and the big portions of food were tasty. I asked for a a dish with hot sauce and it was too hot for me. The waiter saw me burning and offered to turn the dish mild, which I found very nice from him as it was clearly stated that it was a hot sauce and I ordered it anyway — so it was indeed my fault and not the staff’s /​chef’s fault. I also saw a comment here on Unilocal saying that one of the dishes is kind of sweet… I was going to order it and the waiter himself explained it was cooked with mango and more on the sweet side (so I could decided if I wanted it).
I give it a 5 stars because I don’t think you can get anything better and in such a friendly environment for the price they charge (dishes go from 13 to 17 euros and, as said before, portions are incredible generous).

Friendly service. Tikka Masala extremely sweet, taste like sweet mango. Shrimp appetizer very oily but my girlfriend liked it. Garlic naan not really great, no garlic flavor.
