This is a fantastic place situated in the middle of the old town. Here you will get superb service from the staff and very tasty mussels. Usually i don’t like the Moules nature since i think they lack taste, i don’t know what magic they put in at the De Kleine Post but even the nature are tasty here. The fries were warm and perfectly crispy when they arrived. It took a wee bit too long time for the food mussels to arrive, but that was no problem since the view of the square kept my eyes and mind busy.

The seafood are not fresh. This restaurant has a board in front of it, says“best in town”. Unfortunately, it is absolutely not.

The mussels were good the last time I visited. The only complain I had this time was the service isn’t too great. I went there with my sister starving. We were ready to order but after trying to get the server’s attention for 30 minutes, we decided to leave and went to another restaurant.

Came here on a chilly Sunday night in December for dinner. There were a bunch of people outdoor dining. so we thought we’d be cool and sit there too. Heat lamps were on but I was still cold. We were having beer and I got a salad w/raw salmon which I didn’t like. I’m not even sure why I ordered that. Probably to be «healthy» while drinking my beers. Concept was cute but didn’t really enjoy it much. Food was whatevs too.

Fireplace in the back next to the bar! this is one of MANY café’s/bars/restaurants in Old Town Antwerp. Great friendly service, good food, outstanding beer(Naturally). Careful climbing the steep stairs to use the loo. After 3 or 4 belgian beers, getting up isn’t that hard. it’s getting down that becomes a challenge.
