I’ve been to all the ‘fancy’ sushi places in Antwerp, however the sushi from Umi is –by far the best, probably the best i EVER had! (And i’m quite the sushi fan)
You can really taste that the fish is super fresh and the rice is cooked so perfectly.
I come here very often and i almost always take the combo3 and my boyfriend goes for the dragon boat; both so delicious!

Very nice sushi-​place. Love the interior, it’s cosy and divided in different compartiments.
Service is friendly and you never have to wait for a long time. Even though there aren’t any wines on the menu you can easily order white, rose or red wine.
Sushi is tasty and reasonably priced.

Great food! As usual the food was very good! I had the salmon sashimi as a starter and the vegetable and chicken wok as a main course. My friend decided on the gyoza as a starter followed by the red curry! The gyoza tasted great (I tried one). They accidentally brought me a mixed sashimi (tuna/​salmon) but since I’m allergic to tuna they quickly put this right. My wok was very good as was the red curry from what I heard from my friend. The only downside was that I spilled some of my drink and even though the waiter saw it he didn’t bring me a new napkin untill I asked (mine was soaked since I used it to clean up the table.) Will be back!

Quand on fait du shopping à Anvers, on peut avoir une petite faim.
Bizarrement je me retrouve toujours du côté de la Groenplaats pour dîner.
Umi sert des sushis de qualité pour un prix un peu élevé. Jugez plutôt: 5 € pour 2 nigiri au thon. Si vous avez, comme moi, un portefeuille qui n’est pas extensible, vous vous laisserez tenter par les makis. Servis par 6 leurs prix tournent autour de 7 €.
Si vous avez une grande faim, vous pouvez commander un «sushi boat» à partager à plusieurs. J’en ai vu passer devant moi et ils sont extrêmement tentant.
