This restaurant is located right on the main square, next to the tourist information office. The name is No Maison which, to me means No House but there must be some other meaning to it, Our House perhaps. Anyway, went there with a couple of friends last night and I started off with a Kwak beer. That’s the one that is served in a long glass with a round bottom, which means that it wouldn’t stand up without the wooden holder that comes with it. The others had beers as well, St Feuillien and Stella Artois. For eats, two of us went with the pork cooked in that very same St. Feuillien beer. It was good! The sauce was creamy and had a nice taste to it. It came with a tomato with a bit of cauliflower. Another order was trout cooked with the very same beer. The sauce on that one tasted a bit different(I tried it) yet still good. The prices were OK but not cheap. I think for four us of to eat and the 4 beers, it set us back about 75 Euros. Face it, Belgium isn’t a cheap place to eat out in, so this was an acceptable price for a decent meal.
