First this was the only bad side of my trip to Brussels. I came alone all the way from Montréal with my backpack, the lady at the main desk was absolutly rude and the service so long there was 9 people in front of the desk, as we were waiting super long for room we reserved online months early I had the time to mingle with an australian girl who told me they made her change room almost evry day and this is exacly what happened. Then the girl just randomly canceled my reservation because I ask her why do you work in customer service if you are so rude. I ended up in the street with my luggage all the other hostel were pavked because of the gaypride and some cultural festival. Lucky me I met this girl who let me crash at her place plus I never got my money back for the two extra nights

First off! Excellent directions to get here. That is always my first concern when arriving in a new city. Then my second is where can I put my bags? They have a large luggage room and were very friendly about us leaving our huge backpacks whenever it was necessary for us to do so!
We had a private room with a bunk bed. It was immaculately clean, quiet, and had very strong WiFi access in our room. The beds were comfy and all appliances were recently updated.
I recommend taking their walking tour offered once a day. It is free but tipping is an obvious thing to do. You will learn so much about the city and meet some great people staying in your hostel on the tour.
Location is centrally located and Brussels is a pretty easy to walk city. There is a grocery store a few blocks up as well as banks and post offices. The prices here seemed to match everywhere else. The only thing missing was breakfast in the morning!

Premier séjour à Bruxelles, c’est par hasard que nous tombons sur cet hôtel sur Internet.
Gros gros point fort: il est côté de TOUT. Centre ville, métro et tram. Idéal.
Question prix, nous avons payé 126e pour 2 nuits et une chambre avec 3 petits lits.
Niveau propreté, c’est tout à fait correct, à un ou deux détails près (une grosse tâche sur un drap).
Par contre, la WIFI est un gros mensonge: impossible de la capter !
Vu mon budget serré, je retournerai sûrement dans cet hôtel lors de mon prochain séjour. Vu ou il est situé.

Big, impersonal factory hostel. Way overpriced (25 euros for a bed in a dorm). You have to pay a 10 euro deposit for bed linens, the wifi is abysmal, and in the summer it is paradoxically 10 degrees warmer inside than outside, which is quite unpleasant.
There are no fans. I had a sweaty, uncomfortable night here. The location isn’t bad, and all of the negatives are things that the hostel was up front with. This is why I did not give them one star. One star reviews are reserved for those places that are dishonest or unkind. This place is neither.
My two stars are relative to other options in area. You can find much, much better for the same price. Me and my two travel mates changed to the Theatre Hotel, just a few blocks away, and for the same price per bed got a private suite with 4 beds complete with fans, a full kitchenette, and a very welcoming staff.
Bottom line, if you are willing to fork over 25 euros you can find much better in Brussels. If not, there are loads of people on couchsurfing with places that are at least as comfortable as this place, considering that a hard floor in a living room with a fan would have been an improvement over my hot, humid dingy room at 2GO4 Belgium.

Centrally located hostel. 10 – 15 min walk from central train station. Very easy to find. Not too far from Grote Mark area as well.
This review is based on my stay in 2010– which was the last stop in my trip after Germany, Spain, and other parts of Belgium.
: Service :
check in and check out was easy. They mis-​charged me because they got me mixed up with some other guest to check in that day, but cleared that up immediate when I pointed out the discrepancy in price when I booked.
: Rooms :
I was booked in a quadruple room en-​suite. The room was clean, neat, and moderately sized. There is a tall vertical locker (like the kind you find in a locker room) for each bed. The bed was comfy. Easy to find power outlets. The bathroom was bright, the shower was spacious and included soap.
: Common space :
There are computers available to use as well as wi-​fi. The wi-​fi didn’t work very well for me (mac user) so I had to use their computers which were fine enough. There are also common showers and bathrooms if you need to use.
: Security :
Very safe. Lobby is not always open and access is controlled by key card otherwise.
: People :
Lots of people from all over the world. I still keep in touch with someone I met from Japan here (we met in the common area and didn’t realize we were in the same room until the next morning when we were packing up to leave! hah).
Overall, this is a pretty quality hostel to stay at. If the wifi had been better, I’d give it 5 *. No other complaints.
