La joie et le bonheur dans l’assiette
C’est une escale de douceur de vivre, une cuisine très simple et savoureuse. Une ambiance bon enfant, un sourire et des saveurs bien «chaudes» Un grand coup de cafard quand on se retrouve dans la triste rue et sous la pluie. Carte des vins courte, très courte et peu stimulante pour une aussi bonne table.

A restaurant with a difference in Brussels
I’ve been to le Requin Chagrin twice and it is special. I wouldn’t say the décor is particularly amazing because you can find truly breathtaking décor elsewhere in Brussels but the atmosphere is warm and hospitable and the food is excellent. If you want to impress someone with a good Caribbean, Reunion-​type cuisine then take them there. Try the capitaine and be ready to eat a lot because the portions are generous!
