I’m torn. Would have given this NH Hotel a better rating but i’m weighing the cons more than the pros. Pros: This location is right in town. You can walk to the tourist attractions in a matter of minutes, the Brussels Central Train Station is a 10 minute easy walk, the FREE wifi is super fast, there are tons of restaurants right outside the hotel(to include Laduree French macaroons across the way. SCORE), and the bed is comfy! Cons: The hot water in the shower is a problem. It takes a very long time for your shower water to get hot. Once it gets hot, you need to adjust the shower and then it gets too cold again. You’re fumbling with the shower knob for about 10 minutes just to get the water right. Housekeeping(or the lack there of) is horrible. We had the«do not disturb» light off and the cleaning sign on the door knob… after a full day of visiting Brugge, we came back to an un-made up room. No new towels, same filled trash cans. The rooms are quite small as well. Would I stay at this NH location again? Probably.

Catastrophic, not to recommend at all! First of all: i was in this hotel on a business event, therefore i have no bad feeling about the money i would have paid for the hotel. Basically, this hotel is not worth the seal of an nh-hotel at all. The chef seems to be fashioning the cold cuisine, as allmost everything is freezing cold. Even the eggs at the breakfast seem to be cooked a week ago and served over and over again. Speaking of cold: the overall hotel urgently needs a refurbashion, some of the showers(and i am not speaking of a single event… We were a large group here) stayed cold, while mine(shall i consider myself lucky?) had only one temperature: freakingly hot! Perhaps this should fight the fungus on the ceramic on the floor, but is seems not to be helping. The staff is not very guest-focussed, some look even a little bit freakish. Freakish again was the fact that it seems to be default that the connection door between to(seperate) rooms is not locked. That, and the lack of a safe in your room does leave you with a uncertain feeling of insecurity about your personal goods. But if you are lucky, you will hear the theif before you see him, as the hallways is so amazingly loud that you can even hear wispered words of other guests entering their rooms while you try to fall asleep in you bed. Some pros(i had to think hard about them): — free wifi — valet parking — nice urban area To sum it up: try another hotel.

Premier avis!
