Krokantino

Don’t. Just don’t.
You know that common sense thing-​a-​ma-​jig that goes through your mind regarding restaurants and bars and cafes located directly on the main square or any type of popular square and how you should avoid them at all costs? Well, that’s Krokantino. Avoid it at all costs.
My posse and I were famished and wanted waffles and our little waffle stand down the block had not opened, so we sauntered around looking for a suitable alternative and selected Krokantino. Krokantino is not an alternative for anything!
Service was horrible. There were three tables on the front patio (mind you there is also a side patio) and one server handling both sections. We waited 10 minutes for him to take our order and upwards of an hour for our coffees and waffles to be delivered. Our order was nothing special. Seriously, 3x waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and 3x cappuccinos. I have no idea what the damn holdup was but I was pretty angry — and still am, apparently — about the service and basically frozen and reheated waffles served here.
