Wow! I would move to Ghent just to be able to come here. The place is fantastic on every possible level. The service has been spectacular even though the captain laughed when the barmaid and I thought the Genever was from 1880 lol. This place gives the impression of being hundreds of years old. There is turn of the century music playing. The art work and decorations, of which there are copious amounts, are from a time long gone. The drinks and food are fairly priced for the area. I can’t begin to describe the feelings and emotions evoked sitting here and looking around and listening to the old music. Places like this just don’t exist.
If you are in Belgium, this is a must see.
