Gambrinus is a nice little brasserie located on the main square in Leuven.
The menu small and in Dutch but the waiter was very friendly and more than willing to explain the items. I ended up ordering the small black and white sausages along with several beers.
The location alone makes Gambrinus is worth the visit. This is one of the coolest town squares in western Europe. Sit outside if the weather is good.

Nice restaurent directly at the central market place in Leuven, which is a really nice place (especially if you have such a sunny day like I had).
Phantastic gothic buildings and churches, old market flair, typical Belgium feeling, I love it!
Here you get nice small food from friendly people and it’s a place to meet and talk and finding some quiet minutes if you like.
