There was almost nothing else open in Opwijk on a rainy Wednesday night, so they had that going for them.
**The building is really amazing, an old schoolhouse with Art Nouveau flourishes everywhere. The waiter told us they spent years restoring it.
**Standard Belgian fare — my wife and I shared the Ribbetje’s + Frites, and they actually split the order on 2 plates
**Kids split a Dame Blanche for dessert, which they also graciously split for us
**I got a local Op Ale on draft (2 actually), a nice little Belgian amber ale.
