This restaurant has been around for quite a number of years, so I’m actually surprised there is no review for it yet(although considering the neighborhood itself doesn’t boast much in terms of animation). The place is simply decorated(with a windowed closet filled with duck memorabilia) but really nice, a sort of understated elegance that allows you to concentrate on the most important things: the food and your party’s conversation. The restaurant also boasts a little garden/patio area at the back for when the weather’s nice. The restaurant is owned by a really friendly Belgo-French couple, and is the perfect place to go to for a really nice lunch and/or dinner at a reasonable price. I ended up going there with a small group of people for dinner, so it wasn’t too crowded, which was nice(I hear lunches are really busy, but it’s understandable considering they offer a set 3-course meal for an amazing price, so I’d perhaps call ahead of time to see if you can make a reservation). We ordered garlic scampis and the cassolette of melted brie as appetizers, followed by the duck, the curry chicken, and the«menu decouverte,» as main dishes, and finally some chocolate mousse and chocolate fondant(it was a special occasion). The meal was accompanied by a pitcher of red wine. All absolutely delicious! So will I be going back there? Without a doubt! And I highly recommend you try it to, when you happen to be in the neighborhood!
