There goes another great Italian restaurant!
In my opinion this restaurant is worth the try…
The food is good; the service is nice, the location is convenient and the restaurant is charming and cosy…
I see it as a great place for romantic date nights !
What I appreciate most was the waiters who could speak French, Dutch, English, Italian… I mean, really? Wow!
If I may, I recommend this place; give it a try :)

So you know when you really really want to like a place? But every time you go, despite how much you like the food, something taste wise just doesn’t gel? That’s what’s it like with me and thus restaurant.
It’s a fave place for people from work and for one Italian colleague, it’s the place he reckons serves Italian food just like he gets in his home town of Milan. So I have come here ranging with groups of 5 to 20 pros and am always impressed by the service, and also the theatrics of the host. And they have a menu in English, and prices and variety of food is pretty good even if there is no pizza on the menu.
But somehow the food — it’s always been too salty for me and ditto for the dessert this time, except the caramel cream brûlée was sickly sweet. I have enjoyed the Tiramsui in the past and can recommend that. So I think this restaurant is good, but their food is just not to my taste.

How do you say delicious in the local language. Oh well, I’ll just say Delicious! Located right off of the main train station in zaventem. I came with a colleague for a midweek dinner where the craving for a steak was fairly high after a week of dining on mussels for the most part. The steak with mushrooms was so tender! Good wine and crowded with locals on a Tuesday night which provides great insight that this is a local favorite.

Agree with other reviewer. Diegem is boring and lacks dinner time dining options. There are lots of fun options in Brussels but this Italian eatery was good for the area.
Had the antipasto sampler and fish special. It was good food. Highly recommend the sorbet trio… That was so refreshing and best part of the meal. Would not mind returning on next trip to Brussels area.

If you’re stuck in the soulless/​restaurant-​less commercial hotels in Diegem near the airport, this is an oasis of food you should take advantage of. Creative Italian food and excellent beef are the outstanding features here. Located in Zaventum next to (I am told) an excellent Japanese restaurant, La Serenata delivers great food at somewhat expensive prices to the famished business people stuck near the Brussels airport. Good wine selection. Service is slow, so allocate enough time!
