(VB is OK too) Why must I suffer social isolation for not being partial to paying $ 7.50 and more for beers with names like Leaky Tinnie Ale or Hairy Maggot IPA? It was a hot afternoon in Petersham so trying out the new pub by the station seemed a great idea. There was a bouncer on the footpath near the door at the tender hour of 4pm and he scowled at me in the finest door bitch tradition. Sweet exclusivity ! Once inside it went something like this .Scooner of Carlton…
