Dougs is indeed a Sandgate icon, and the food is brilliant, BUT WHAT RESTAURANT IN 2014 HAS NO WAY TO PAY BUT CASH??? NO EFTPOS, NO CREDIT!!! I’m not sure what bizarre kind of bank fee/govt protest is going on here, but with the nearest ATM a ten minute walk away it is just rude and poor customer convenience…

Appears to have closed forever. I think it died when the last owners left and the cops stopped frequenting.

Rainbow Street Takeaway

The food will make you sick. The father of this family run business has no business sense at all, demanding extra fees for using EFTPOS and rearranging the store layout continuously. I feel sorry for the teenager who has been shanghaied to run the place. I miss the nice Chinese family that used to own it.
