This would have to be the cheapest and most delicious Japanese in Camberwell.I’ve been a couple of Friday nights and have enjoyed edamame, katsu curry don and bento tempura box.The seats are rather low, and the lighting harsh, but who cares the food is good. Sakura Inn

Not fine dining but the food is great as is service. The I only thing is that the noise level is a bit loud for my liking. For a casual experience, you can’t go wrong!If going with a couple of people I find picking your own food to share a better option rather than the banquets.

Wafu Japanese Restaurant

I haven’t tried any other sushi places in Melbourne. I lived in Japan for a few years and this sushi is OK…I liked the crispy chicken rolls, and the little shoyu squeezies are very convenient. I think it’s good enough to go back again and I will.

It looks like your typical, cute, clean Japanese restaurant. I asked the waitress before ordering, «what is Daruma?» and she didn’t know. She didn’t offer to find out either.
