Finally a good cuisine deserving success.Never had such perfectly prepared asparagus, attentfull service, enthusiast team and surprising wines.Mechelen has been waiting for decades to get a upper middle class restaurant!

Café Belge

This is a nice place to have a drink (if you don’t mind the smoke that at times tends to hang in it — but this is Belgium) and a light snack like a salad. It can get very crowded and loud but if you want to strike up a conversation with the locals, this is a place not to miss.
