Yes, Leliah is right– the Ortega is worth a visit– it’s a lovely little wine. The owners are terrific and friendly, and they offer a tannin-free red wine which is very unusual, but good. They make wine with a lot of unusual varietals– I’ll be back.
Amazing wines coming from mostly locally grown grapes but also some from the interior. Highly recommend the unoaked chardonnay and the rose. Customer service could be improved but still a really great stop. Especially since these wines aren’t available in Vancouver just yet…
