Sushi Ryu

Quite frankly the best Sushi on Vancouver Island! The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous! Chef Sammy is a legend in Japanese cuisine. Hard to believe a place of this quality and calibre exists in Nanaimo. If you want the best possible Sushi experience go to Umai!

Umai Sushi

Amazing food.Flavour and presentation was on.We sat at the sushi bar, because the restaurant was packed for lunch service. The chef was very talkative and charismatic, he gave us complimentary Panko Crusted Tuna as a starter. Delicious. We were only passing through Naniamo, but we will be back!Cheers!

Nori Japanese Restaurant

Service was kind and food was prepared quickly.Agedashi tofu was crispy on the outside and soft inside with a nice broth.Miso ramen was very good. The ones less star is for the lack of condiments. Garlic, chilli oil, and egg that you can top your ramen with.Worth trying and I certainly will come back
