Brogue Gastropub

Cool bar in the Exchange District. Burger was delicious, as was the chicken roti. If you like spicy food, medium is good. Surprisingly spicy actually. If you were born with a habanero in your mouth, go for spicy.

King’s Head Pub

A casual spot in Winnipeg, The Grove offers up traditional pub food. I ordered the burger with the egg and wasn’t impressed. The egg was overcooked and thus didn’t add much value to the meal. Not sure if their other dishes are better, but I can’t recommend their burger. Good luck in Winnipeg.

Anyone who considers this an English pub needs to be banned from any real pubs.Nice stained glass outside but inside modern dark anypub décor. No ale on tap — usual bud pee lager etc, Ordered the butter chicken, should have been advertised as butter chicken soup, where was the chicken? Tasted ok but not…
