I used to be a huge fan of Julien’s. In the past few months, however, I’ve had less-than-optimal croissants and other breads — some with the texture of day-old products sold at full price. The coffee is great, the chocolate/fruit pastries are wonderful, but maybe some more attention could be paid to quality…
