MacCormack’s Beach Provinicial Park

It’s a long drive from Hfx but it’s worth it. The beach goes on forever so even when the parking lot’s full the beach isn’t too crowded. Minus one star for bad parking though.

Cunard Beach

Lots of wind. Great for surfers but none were around so I busted out my bogie board and caught some major waves. Lawrencetown Beach Provincial Park

It’s pretty, but it’s really small, and the sand is rough (though it is white, as others have observed). I wouldn’t say it was worth the drive from town.
