Word on the street is that they’re being replaced by a Fresco soon. Sobeys was originally a 24 hours store but they’ve reduced it to daily operating hours. There is a food basic just down the block which more aptly meets the needs of the price conscious shopper. It’ll be interesting to see what’s to come.

I sometimes wonder how Sobeys stays in business. If I shopped there exclusively, my food budget would increase by at least 25%.Once in a blue moon they have good specials, especially on high-end cheeses.
