New Edinburgh Park

I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews for this excellent park! I came here when I worked in childcare, and it was a kid’s paradise. It might even be my favourite place to bring kids in the city, especially on a hot day.There’s an awesome two tiered splash pad here, along with 4 or 5 awesome play structures…

Brewer Park

Excellent path network gets you to a lot of places on a bicycle along the water. Take a map because you might need it with sometimes lack of signage if you go for long stretches. Watch out for bumpy pavement around older buildings. I love recreational bike paths!

Mooney’s Bay Park

I went there to see the Ice Sculptures — part of the Winterlude 2016 (the Winter Festival) of Ottawa. The park itself is not very big, I believe it is also a music venue sometimes. The ice sculptures are displayed all over the park, but some are under tents, and some are already broken…It was an OK to me…
