Great little pastry & chocolate shop, near a Metro stop in old town part of Lyon.Many delicious looking chocolate animals to choose from for Easter.Helpful staff, multi-lingual (including English). And they wrapped my purchase up nicely as a gift!

Very good bread, crusty airy baguettes that make a mess with all the crumbs, yay!I ate some patisserie stuff there um…3 times a day for every day of my stay :/piggy piggy! I had their pain au chocolate, croissant aux amandes… but their cookies just ain’t up to an American’s standards, they were just ok. haha……

I love French bakeries and these place is partly the reason why. I tried their pistachio scone, cannele, and macarones. There macarones were epic. The insides were soft and just the right amount of chewiness. The outside shell was crunchy. Come here for the macarones. Se Bonne. :)

We saw a long queue outside, so we were curious. It seems it was the Brioche aux pralines that attracted all the people. So we bought one, and tried, and it was good. The brioche itself was better than the pralines. We haven’t tried the other things, so I can’t tell about the overall quality. Just try yourself…
