This is a great new take-away in Ennis. They do fresh cod and chips that they batter themselves which is amazing. They also have hand-cut chips which are brilliant. I have also had the pizza there which is pretty good too. The prices are very reasonable and they offer home delivery. Well worth a try!

This is the only McDonald’s in Ennis and is around 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. This is a drive thru with plenty of free parking. The food is the same as what you normally get in every other McDonald’s.

It’s a basic fast food restaurant. Americans will compare to the quality of KFC and such. Our friends had chicken strips which were some what rubbery. My wife and I had the beef, bacon and cheese meat pie… This was clearly the better choice. If you want a cheap fast meal this is it.

Hillbilly’s Fried Chicken

Deep fried fast food. After a few drinks at the pub it was perfect, but we all were paying for it in the morning. The chips were delicious, but the chicken was way too greasy. It was a bit expensive for what we got as well. Friendly staff and the place was very crowded late at night.
