UPDATEI still stick by most of the comments in my previous review, but recent experience has suggested that the hotel’s ability to deal with «issues» (e.g. billing mistakes) is very poor, taking multiple attempts over an extended period to rectify :-(

Hotel Ibis Leiden Centre

Definitely not anything really fancy here. You get what you pay for. However it is located right in the middle of everything and it’s a really easy walk from the train station. Staff is very friendly. Leiden is a university town and this is a university hotel. Safe doesn’t work. All the lights don’t work…
