Lucky Bakery

Shhh… don’t tell anyone this is one of Wellington’s best kept secrets for exquisite french bread and patisserie items.Their boutard and petite french as well as ficelles are hard to beat. My French colleagues come here to buy their baguettes.

Wholly Bagels

This is the smaller, express version of the bakery in Thorndon Quay. Lots of great little French pastries. Their chocolate mousse is really good. Lots of great breads. They have croinuts! Location is very busy and hard to find parking though.

Bordeaux Bakery

The best salted caramel cookies ever! Amazing! I always make a point of visiting Leeds St Bakery when I am visiting Wellington. Fantastic coffee, a range of beans and brewing varieties and very friendly staff. Definitely get a couple of cookies to take home with you.
