Praça da Figueira is such an amazing spot, especially after exploring the castle. It’s a big open square that seems like it’s as old as the castle, but it isn’t. Beautiful square. You will find many restaurants and expensive hotels and stores. From here you can see the castle and also walk down to the Arca da Rua Augusta.
Ok place to hang out in the afternoon but I still don’t think I would come here in the evening even though it seemed safe during the day.
