What a great place to enjoy fondue and raclette in a old Walliser home.. If you prefer meat you can get a a Walliser plate which features dry meat and more. Service is excellent. Make sure to reserve because it only has room for about 25 people.

The whole town is truly magical, set in the valley surrounded by the mountains, you literally feel as you are in fairy tale. To keep the distraction away and air fresh and crisp as it should be there are no car traffic allowed in the city. I think that’s simply brilliant. Going back to the restaurant though…

Excellent food in a rustic wooden house. I had the Bärlauchcreme soup from the Easter menu (excellent) and the salmon (good but not overwhelming). The lamb from the Easter Menu looked excellent as well.The Grand Marnier parfait dessert with passion fruit sauce from the regular menu was great again.

La Ferme

Another great meal. The après-ski crowd and food here is terrific. There are patio heaters in place so that you can sit outside at the bar or tables in winter, and the best Rosti in Saas Fee is served here. Plus, everyone coming off the slopes walks by this place. Don’t miss it.

Zur Mühle

Adorable, cozy restaurant with friendly service and amazing fondue. We got three– truffle, garlic, and bacon, which were all delicious. We also got the plate of cured meats to dip, which I recommend– otherwise you just get bread. A must if you’re craving fondue in Saas Fee.

Restaurant Vieux-Chalet

Well crafted Swiss food in a historic building perched on top of a hill. Great views and elegantly rustic atmosphere. This restaurant is connected with Waldhüs Bodmen but is a bit more upscale.
