This is a lovely pub on a nice country lane. Warm people and a warm open fire. This is the former village bakehouse.A nice pint of Betty Stogs was the icing on the cake.Definitely worth a visit

Rising Sun

This is such a friendly pub. Ok it is attached to a hotel, but is in no way a hotel bar… the other drinkers were clearly locals… and chatty ones too!Went for a nice pint of sharps own as I had paid myself tribute a bit too often at this point.

Cornish Inn

1 pound for a half of keltek magic! Bargain.This seems to be the football pub in Gunnislake and if the match is on it cannot be avoided. As it was Moan Utd on the day I visited (a few weeks back) I got as far away as I could from the TVs without actually leaving the establishment.

Buccaneer Inn

Locals pub away from most of gunnislake. There are a number of sport pictures and trophies around the interior and a dart board too.Doom bar was on the pump. The radio served as the background noise.Hard to put my finger on anything wrong with this pub, but it just didn’t do it for me.
