Lewis’s Fish & Chip Shop

This, in my opinion, is the best fish & chip shop in Penzance. The chips are always well cooked and the fish is freshly cooked to order. It is also moist and the batter is not too heavy. The quality is very consistent. Well worth a visit!

I love the place. The special burger is tasty and of really really generous portion, compared to its price. And yes, the fried chips are greasy but okay to me since I found all British recipes equally greasy. The food served here totally worth the money. :D

Slightly odd ordering system and we got some mixed items in our purchase. Haddock tasted a little dry, I would suggest the Hake or even check what’s the freshest catch they have.Being by the sea, fish and chips have to be well above average to meet expectations and I have to say these were a bit below average.
