Best ice cream in the whole wide world!!!

Been there as long as I can remember and is renowned for it’s fish and chips and the legendary ice cream with marshmallow sauce. Staff are really friendly.

Stopped by for lunch, ordered 8oz steak sandwich open face with triple cooked chips, onion rings and salad. The steak was a regular steak, uncut and more like a dinner meal. Overall very good meal but a bit more than expected for lunch.Small seating area downstairs with more open seating upstairs, no lift…

Stopped in here last week for some lunch. Interiors are both cosy and teapot-adorned. Staff are friendly and service is great. Prices are reasonable and the coffee is spot-on. Can’t ask for anything more — except more coffee. :)

Gilberry Fayre

Used to enjoy going in here but service has changed and diminished. Server, this morning, chatting away to her colleague whilst I stood waiting to be served. To add insult to injury my grande filter came with her thumb inside the rim! Time to try Costa!
