This is an absolute gem of a pub. CAMRA awards galore at national and local level for it’s beer. Excellent food too. Landlord extremely welcoming and nearly always behind the bar. Other staff great too, very helpful and happy. They have got good standard letting rooms too, some with ensuite. Big Sunday roast!

Excellent food — portion size, quality, choice. Excellent local real ales. The only let down is the slightly soulless renovation the pub had a few years ago.
