I like old hall — Nice spot, local and friendly. Much improved service since I was last here. Came for curry night and had the hot as hell curry… So hot it hurts! Not for the faint hearted — managed to finish it but by God, those naga naga curries are deadly. Great wee spot though!

Pub grub that’s well priced (offers always available). Nice place to go mid week when you can’t be bothered cooking. Don’t expect any fancy dishes here, but something simple and tasty will be on the table without much of a wait.

Went here with some co-workers after visiting our Manchester office. Decent priced drinks, relaxed atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. The really like the music they play.

This pub is now under new management, has been refurbished and now serves food. There are 2 sides to the bar and TVs for sports. The variety of drinks available is alright for a local pub. There’s a small beer garden at the back of the pub too.

Old Market Tavern

Great value for money. Plenty of tables. They have a good menu. Great desserts. There most popular is there carvery which is only £3.99 Monday to Saturday then £6.99 on a Sunday. All staff are friendly and there quick to clear tables after people have left. Very clean and tidy.
