This place is a must for all students at The University of Hull, particularly the postgraduate community. The food is fantastic, the service is very friendly and it is excellent value for money. It is also a short walk from campus and much better than the prepackage sandwich options in the student’s union.

A very small, intimate restaurant/café with a mixture of Mediterranean and Mexican food. Whilst they don’t serve alcohol they do have a BYOB policy with no corkage.They have snacks like Hoummous, Falafel, Dolma and mains such as Enchiladas and Salads. Recently in the Lantern, service very good, food slighty above average.Décor very dated, no real heating, just a few portable heaters the place was cold and uncomfortable.Not sure if I would use the place again based on this one off visit.Also agree with the other review about payment, a little strange.
