My friend and I had our first falafel in Manchester and I must say they were delicious! The venue wasn’t spectacular, looked rather dull, bright light and some Arabic kitsch on the wall but all in all I would definitely come back again for a snack (it is pretty cheap as well).
A large wrap crammed with tasty falafel and salad for £3.50 is great value in my opinion and they seriously put the express into their name — v impressive. The filling involves red cabbage, potatoes and delicious cucumbery salad, I really liked it.Only snag is the wrap smelled like sick. Didn’t notice so much…
Not bad for a quick lunch. Reasonable price. The wrap is not so good though. See if you are lucky to get fresh fried falafel cause this time I think mine has been put there for a while so its not crispy outside… a bit too soft.
Sure, it’s a faceless franchise, but It;s decent-enough falafel. It’s £2.50/£3.50. It’s better quality than the food available in the hospital. Not exactly much competition for decent food for lunch in the area, so thank you GF!
