popped on here for the Thai food. It really is tasty and good portions. A real country beamed pub in the heart of leafy oxshott. I did find it bizarre that it was thai and not traditonal pub food but you can get that up the road at the bear. If you fancy Thai in this area you have to try this

Duke’s Head

One of the two ‘better’ pubs in Leatherhead. The pub is a member of the Youngs chain. Food is of reasonable quality but limited in options. Atmosphere is generally pleasant with friendly staff to serve. It has got a beer garden witch is at the side of the pub and faces the street. Good location for a pint.

The Penny Black

This is more of a restaurant than a pub. It has a huge dining area and a small bar. It is not the best place if you are only drinking but at least they sell Doom Bar and one guest ale. It is comfortable enough but the tables suit large groups. It has a large car park and a patio for the good weather.

This is one of the more scruffy Wetherspoons pubs and it is popular with the rougher residents of Leatherhead, however, it has a good range of beers and reasonable food menu.
