The Anson is very well situated in the heart of Wallsend, at the edge of the Forum something to it’s advantage as it is a mediocre pub but I can recommend going in there for lunch. It’s food won’t win any awards but it’s good basic and cheap and it does have a good selection of beers ect.

This to me is one where unless your’e a regular I would’nt venture. It’s not the kind of place you drop into if you just fancy a drink whilst out. A bit rough for my liking.
