Wrens Nest Nature Reserve

Located in the old grounds of Himley Hall which was the home of the Earl of Dudley. Theres openland, woods, fishing lake and a public golf course. They have many big events here such as the usual bonfire night but also music events, wedding fairs etc.

Himley Park

Large area parkland consisting of open grassland, woods, streams and a lake ideal for walking the dogs. Very hilly not suitable for those with mobility issues. Also in very wet weather the streams in the little valleys become torrents and should be avoided.

Cotwall End Country Park

An area of woodland, open fields, canals and a large reservoir. The nature reserve is dominated by a large quarry which provided clay fir the local brickworks. Its q great place for walking the dogs. Saltwells Nature Reserve

Local Authourity Park with all the usual play eaquipment etc and playing fields. It has one unusual feature the substantial ruins of a medievel priory. It lies in the shadow of Dudley Castle and Zoo.
