Gets very busy on a weekend with family’s and kids running all over the place. It’s your typical chain pub with moody, tired looking bar staff and plenty of tables with leftovers and empty glasses on them. You can get some rowdy groups so if you going for a quiet drink you might want to look elsewhere.

The Ship Inn

service is very good, and a friendly atmosphere, but the carvery is expensive for the amount of food you are served with. if you add a dessert, its very expensive for a family night out.the eating area is also very warm, which becomes a little unpleasant after a while.

A very ‘clicky’ pub. The Landlord was sat with his mates and they spent their time gawping at my friend and I. It’s not so much of a pub as a special venue that caters to people known only to the landlord. God knows how it stays open.

Navigation Tavern

Visited with my son and his two children aged under 4. His glass was covered in lipstick, but when I pointed this out to a staff member, they replaced the drink and the glass. The food was atrocious.
