Always good for Sunday lunch. I like the Sunday club (roast beef pork or chicken) or just mixed grill. Good price and includes a drink. And best is, you can get German beer (Krombacher from the bottle)… Cheers

Service was a little long and staff seemed extremely rushed. Old style pub so a little crampedHow ever the food is fantastic the quality is not reflected in the price. Very cheap with top quality food you cannot go wrong here. Portion sizes are large and you will want to finish the lot

Really nice carvery and the prices are pretty good too! I think its a choice of three different meats, and then you can help yourself to as much veg as you want and lots of difference sauces. Also, and this is the best bit, they had a mountain of pork crackling to choose from too!

Lovely pub in Wakefield with a nice atmosphere, though the bar does have a perplexing wicker roof going around the top that makes it look like it was once an Hawaiian bar. It’s a nice place to start the evening before heading into town, and I’m told they have a good array of music acts on also.
