This is a cracking pub that has everything a good pub should have. Looks good and old, history, plenty of real ale (Envill. Hobsons etc) plus real cider too. The ham, cheese and beef cobs are a joy. Just £1.50 each and they come with a rake of fresh salad. Very popular pub and well worth a visit if in area.

Usual Marstons/Bank’s pub although there seems to be more diners than drinkers here. ¾ good ales on and decent chain menu with specials too. Good lunch offers and good service, not much waiting time for food even when quite busy which is often. Big car park.

Three Crowns & A Sugar Loaf

Great pub offering good real ales and excellent food. All meets from local farmers. The burgers are delicious probably best I’ve had. Reasonable prices for ale meals from about £6.00. Sometimes there is a 2 for one offer on. Well worth a visit if in area.
