Authentic Chengdu food. Especially recommend their BBQ fish, lamb, and dessert like BBQ toast and mantou. The spicy jelly and noodles are super tasty too. Owner used to run Chef Ma — another authentic sichuan food restaurant. Friendly service.
Update… tried something else and it was good! Sour cabbage/lamb noodle soup — one of my favorites during the winter. Plus bonus points for being open late (I think until 1 am on Saturday at least?).
Tried once and would not come back. Spicy food does not mean spicy only. You still need a chef to cook and blend the spice with the beauty of food ingredients. The sad thing about this place is that they only throw spice in food so you can only taste spice but nothing else.
